4:23 pm - interesting thought
I was watching a show on the food network, and one of the chefs made a comment something along the lines of "there are only two acts in which we use all of our senses - the act of making love...and the act of eating."

I love this idea. It explains perfectly why tasting amazing food hits me so deeply. Food has the ability to be so sensual.

The only sense I'm not sure of here is sound. I mean, I guess you can consider the sound of sizzling fajitas or the sound of silver hitting china, or even the sounds of the music played in a restaurant, but it feels like a stretch to me. Aside from that, I love the way the senses are used in both acts...

Thoughts on any other times we use all of our senses?
